 Robert B. Samuels, Inc. Telecommunication Infrastructure division (DATACOM) was established in 2002 through the purchase of AR Communications Corporation. Together, the company has 24 years of experience and is a diversified communication company specializing in voice, data, alarm, control, fiber video cabling infrastructure, and project management. We have RCDD personal on staff to provide design of cable infrastructure.
Hardware:
We offer a complete line of TIA/EIA-568A/B compliant hardware, including one of the industry’s broadest offerings of work area and telecommunications products for UTP including Category 6A, coaxial and fiber optic cabling from any number of sources such as Systimax, Leviton, TE, Ortronics, Coming, Uniprise, Belden, Hubbell, Panduit, Siemon. We are certified installers for all these companies and have the ability back these products with the Manufacturers certifications and warranties. These lines include products for virtually any commercial office application, all specifically designed to assist in a proper, standards compliant installation, and manufactured to the highest quality standards. All of the above cabling systems are tested with state of the art equipment such as Fluke/Microtest copper and fiber test sets. For more demanding requirements, we also have OTDR and Coming Fusion equipment. Our expertise allows us to offer fiber optic OTDR testing, and fusion splicing (loose tube, ribbon, single and multi-mode). We offer expertise in electrical contracting services in the areas of AC and DC power, telecommunication equipment installation and conduit installations.
Installation:
Our installers attend up to date training in all aspects of our work.
We are a certified installation company for all the products offered and in accordance with our manufacturer's requirements provide:
- Premises network installation and maintenance services
- Design, install and test in compliance with TIA/EIA Commercial Building Standards
- Engineering support for LAN design and integration
We can offer the highest applications assurance and warranty in the industry. We will support any current or future application developed for a TIA/EIA-568A structured cabling system dependent on the manufacturer selected for as long as the lifetime of the application.
Project Implementation:
Project Management on every installation is important and becomes critical on large complex projects. We assign a Project Manager to every job large or small. The Project Manager is responsible for all aspect of the job. This includes scheduling, change orders, reporting, and overall site management. We employ the use of Microsoft Project software to manage time scheduling, and to share information with our Clients, assuring project completion.
